Patrick Lauren Kelsey, 59, of Asheville, died Saturday, January 15, 2005, at Memorial Mission Hospital.
Mr. Kelsey was born in Silver City, NM and was a son of the late Harold and Alice Conway Kelsey.
He was a retired Captain with the US Air Force where he served for 26 years and more recently worked as a physician’s assistant at Hygeia Family Clinic. He was a ham radio operator and a member of the Western Carolina Amateur Radio Club.
Surviving are his wife Patricia Whittington Kelsey; a daughter DeAnna Kelsey Diaz and her husband Charles of Toronto, Canada; a son Patrick Kelsey and his wife Paula of Marietta, GA; and four grandchildren, Emily, Benjamin, Sarah and Ethan.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
