Fletcher – Debra Kay Ray, 57, of Fletcher, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Gainesville, TX while visiting relatives.
A native of Brownfield, TX she was the daughter of Donald and Lou McKinley of Gainesville, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles "Corky" Lasiter. She was loved by all who knew her and gave all of her time, love and devotion to her family and friends.
She is survived by her former husband, Roger Ray and their two daughters, Amy Perkins and her husband, Neil, of Charlotte, NC and Christy Cox of Candler, NC; one son, Jason Ray and his wife, Ashley, of Candler, NC; two granddaughters, McKinley Perkins and Kaitlyn Owenby. She is also survived by one brother, Joe Lasiter and sister, Sheri Byrum, both of Texas and several nieces and a nephew.
A funeral service will be held at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian at 2PM on Monday, June 11, 2012 with the Reverend Dennis Lanning officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
