Hilda Case Garland, 88, a native of Buncombe County, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Lane Case and Julia Wise Case. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Floyd Mann Garland; a brother, Robert C. Case; and a sister, Virgie Case Taylor.
Mrs. Garland was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Enoch Ball, Jr. will officiate.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
