I am sorry I wasn't able to come to the funeral. Karen, thank you for calling me and letting me know of his passing. I loved your dad (and mom) very much and will always treasure the wonderful times we had together on Killian Rd. Richard was one of a kind, always sharing whatever he had and willing to help at any time. Thoughts and prayers to you and all of the family.

Karen and Rick, I'm so sorry for your loss. I will forever miss Richard's tomatoes, vegetables and the beautiful dahlias. There wasn't anything he couldn't grow, and he was always so kind to me and Roger. He and your mom will always have a special place in my heart.

You will be in my prayers for many days to come.

I am thankful to God for bringing Richard into my life. I call him dad. He was a loving man who treated me like a daughter. I have never known a kinder, gentler man. He was genuine and I already miss him dearly. I am blessed to have known him. Our prayers are with you Karen and Rick.
