We are so glad that we were able to come & spend a few days with you during this sad time. You & your family have been involved in our lives for a long time and for this we are very thankful. You are our family too & Joe will always be a big brother & I a loving friend. If you need to run away from home, we are just down the mountain.
And when you feel sad, think of all those wonderful times & the laughter shared. There's no more pain & suffering for Dad and now he is with Mom. And for that we can feel comfort in our hearts. Take things one day at a time & in small doses. That advise is from Joe, your personal pharmacist brother.

Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of your dad's passing. He was such a wonderful, talented and gracious man. I will miss talking to him for hours at a time and drinking countless cups of coffee. Your dad was one of a kind and he will be missed by all of us who knew him. Gene loved talking with your dad when he came by your house to visit or let someone in. He would always take time to stop and talk to us when we were in our own yard working. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you in the loss of your Dad. I have many fond memories of your dad, and your mom. As a kid I couldn't wait for them to come visit us. And then they started bringing this lovely curly headed child with them who was the joy of their lives. I loved your dad very much. The Owenby family is not as blessed now that he is gone.
