I first met Rev. Clark at St. Luke's Church on Hilton Head Island, which my husband and I attended when we were "at home" on the island. Holland came to visit my late husband during his grave illness, and arraged for communion in the hospital many times. That was twenty years ago, and the memory and gratitude are still fresh. Rest in peace and God bless you. My sincere sympathy to his family.

Uncle Holland was a kind, warm, funny, good and wonderful man. He will be missed by many, each of whom is the better for having been touched by his grace.

Holland was by far the most sincere,loving and spiritual person I've ever known. A very gentle man.

Jane, I am so sorry to hear about Holland, after our so many pleasant associations - Church, family, Savannah, Yale, etc. - But I particularly regret not being able to be with you now.
